I stayed at The Suwgra for one night with my wife and three children (ages 17, 15, and 8), and we were truly amazed. The location, the views, and the surrounding landscape were absolutely stunning. This is not a typical hotel but a centuries-old village home, beautifully built into the cliffs of Al Suwgra, a village inhabited for over 500 years. The traditional architecture, both exterior and interior, took us back in time and gave us a rare chance to experience the charm of authentic village life in a very exotic setting. The view, the cool mountain air, the rain and mist, and the peaceful silence were unforgettable. Check-in was smooth, and all the staff were friendly, professional, and spoke good English. We were picked up from the meeting point in Birkat Al Mouz. We stayed in the Al Barsha Suite, which had three bedrooms and four beds—very clean and comfortable. Amenities like hot water, tea/coffee, and stable Wi-Fi made the stay even better, especially considering the remote mountain setting. We also went on a lovely morning hike near the guesthouse. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all delicious and full of authentic local flavors. Meals were served in a scenic dining area, and lunch must be ordered in advance as it’s freshly prepared home-cooked food. The location is absolutely magical—peaceful, scenic, and far from the typical tourist experience.

This was our last night in Oman (sadly). Saif welcomed us with Omani coffee, dates and fruit, and we enjoyed discussions with him and learning about his culture. Our room was clean and comfortable. Saif's wife prepared us a delicious dinner and breakfast. The location is superb. We hiked in the mountains above Wakan and explored the Wadi Mistal area. Thank you Saif!

It’s a real paradise in the middle of jebel al akdhar. Very very comfortable, nicely decorated and host was very kind and responsive. I couldn’t recommend more for a honey moon or just a little break.

The guest house is run by two very hospitable and friendly brothers, who originate from the nearby village. The house was built by them in a charming and authentic Omani style. From its terraces there is a breathtaking view of the high mountains and village. The silence is welcoming to the soul. There are walks and hikes that can be taken starting from the guesthouse or the 2 minute steep drive to the village below. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathroom and shower are simple, clean and functional. Our supper and breakfast were homemade and delicious. The were served on one of the terraces. We would highly recommend this guesthouse to experience an authentic stay in Oman. Thank you very much for an unforgettable stay.

ALOEVERA VILLAS & CAFA có hồ bơi ngoài trời, khu vườn, phòng chờ chung và sân hiên ở Sayq. The location is exceptional, the facility was very clean and well organized, the coffee shop is so well built and the view was unbelievable.

Nằm ở Bīmah, bait bimah travel lodge có khu vườn, nhà hàng và tiện nghi BBQ. - Friendly staff - Good sized room and a HUGE bed! The owner said that they made the bed frame themselves, with wood from the area. - Clean and functional shower, with enough hot water for 2 pax (it gets cold in the evening so this is important!) - Delicious food! We didn't expect this, but the buffet was really good, both for dinner and for breakfast. - It's the last (one could say the only) house in this section of the wadi, which means that you can start walking from the guesthouse and within 5 minutes, find yourself in an incredibly peaceful environment, surrounded by the steep mountainsides of the wadi. That was a big plus!
