We had a great stay and the food was delicious. The property is a few minutes from the town, in a lovely setting. The hosts worked hard to make a great stay for everyone.

We visited Panama for the second time, and once again, we absolutely loved it. While looking for a beautiful place to stay, we came across this little hidden gem 💍– and what a find it was! Arrival & Welcome We were picked up by a private boat and warmly welcomed. The boat ride took around 45 minutes and was truly enjoyable. Along the way, we received interesting information about the surrounding islands – and even spotted dolphins! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a delicious welcome cocktail before our first meal. Such a lovely touch!☀️😍 Room The room was spacious and very comfortable. We’ve seen a lot of bathrooms throughout Panama, and many of them lack a proper shower. But here – the shower was fantastic! Great water pressure and lovely hot water – such a treat. :) Breakfast Breakfast was amazing. The host really listened to our preferences, and I was thrilled to have my fried egg every morning – along with fresh fruit and avocado. A perfect start to the day! Lunch Lunch was absolutely delicious – we had shrimp with coconut rice and plantains. A real taste of local cuisine that felt authentic and lovingly prepared. Dinner The highlight of our meals was definitely pizza night on our last evening! It was such a fun, communal experience with homemade pizza in creative and tasty varieties. So cool – and honestly, unforgettable. Surroundings The water around the property was crystal clear – it felt like swimming in a private aquarium. We saw a small shark, a stingray, colorful fish, and more – all right in front of our room. I’m usually a bit hesitant in the water, but here, I felt completely safe and at ease. The trees, the light, the tranquility – I can’t even describe how beautiful it was. Truly one of my personal highlights – such peace and connection with nature. Activities The hosts’ children were incredibly kind and welcoming.

La Loma Jungle Lodge and Chocolate Farm ofrece vistas al mar y se encuentra en Isla Bastimentos, a 10 km de la localidad de Bocas. EXTRAORDINARIO!!! Una experiencia única!!! Difícil de resumir! Fui con mi familia: mis dos hijas de 8 y 10 años y sus abuelos de 70 años. Para mis hijas fue increíble (si tuvieran que escoger entre viajar a Disney o a las Lomas me dijeron que no sabrían que elegir!) La comida un lujo! De primera calidad: nunca alcancé a tener hambre entre comidas y el nivel es totalmente Gourmet, de primer nivel!!! Las cabañas son impecables y el sonido de la selva al dormir es increíble. Con mis papás teníamos aprehensión por las escaleras, pero la verdad es que con paciencia no tuvieron ningún problema, sin duda, el esfuerzo es altamente recompensado. Está todo muy bien pensado. Las personas que trabajan ahí son una verdadera familia. Hicimos varios tours. Para llegar a la playa Red Frogs son solo 5 minutos en bote. Si estás pensando en ir no lo dudes más! Estuvimos 6 días y alcanzamos a disfrutar el lugar y realmente conectarnos con la naturaleza. Imposible aburrirse…

Casa Acuario Boutique Hotel está ubicado en Bocas del Toro, a a pocos pasos de Playa Carenero, y ofrece servicio de conserjería, habitaciones hipoalergénico, zona de playa privada, wifi gratis y un... The attention to detail and way the rooms and hotel grounds were carefully curated was so unique and beautiful. You could tell a lot of time and effort goes into making sure guests have a unique experience, and I surely did as part of my stay. The location was perfect and easy to get to the main island and other islands within Bocas - not to mention the views over the water were insanely beautiful. The breakfast options in the morning were terrific and all the staff were so helpful and thorough in their duties . The owners were amazing and helped with suggestions on activities, transportation, and overall everything that you needed to know to have a great experience. They were super friendly and helpful, and they made my experience so much better by being just really good people. I’ve already recommended Casa Aquario to friends and family, and I look to go back again in the future. 10 out of 10 experience.

Hotel Tierra Verde Bed and Breakfast está ubicado en Bocas del Toro y tiene una pileta al aire libre, jardín, zona de playa privada y terraza. I had an amazing stay at Tierra Verde! A 3 minute walk from Caranero town and the closest supermarket, it is peaceful, and still only a 1 minute boat ride away from Bocas town, from the hotels own boat deck right out the front! The surf breaks are a 10 minute walk away! The room was homey and clean; and had all amenities one could need, towels, great AC, hot water, a wardrobe, a smart TV and even a key lock box on the door so keys can be stored safely when heading for a surf or swim! There is a beautiful garden with sea view and pool right out the front and a fully equipped kitchen to use for guests! The breakfast included is fresh, filling and delicious! But most of all, the manager Edgar and his whole team are extremely lovely! I felt welcome and well taken care of from the minute I arrived:) Will definitely be staying here again when returning to Caranero!

Hostal Café Axi está ubicado en Almirante y tiene un jardín, terraza, bar y wifi gratis. En la casa de huéspedes, cada habitación incluye balcón. Axel, el dueño, fue muy disponible sobre qualquier aspecto, nos recibió bien y por todo lo que nececitavamos se preocupava el mismo, hasta acompañandonos. El lugar es muy comodo tambien para tener un punto de apoyo por ir a Bocas del Toro. Super buena experiencia, lo recomendo mucho.
