The accommodation is really fantastic. A small boutique hotel with great attention to detail. We had the suite and felt very comfortable and had plenty of space. The area is quiet and there are a few stores within walking distance. Domenico is an excellent host and very helpful.

The on-site staff was very helpful and friendly. The owner was very personable.

The hostel architecture is very nice and the rooms are comfortable. It has a rock climbing wall and a separate bar and restaurant which is awesome and very lively. Definitely recommended if you don't mind meeting new people, some music and having a good time. Felipe, the receptionist was very nice and a great person to talk with.

Police presence was strong on the corner (just a rock throw away) so I felt more comfortable in not being snatched coming into and out of the bldg late at night. The people around me were friendly enough. Overall neighborhood was a little "seedy" but not overwhelming. I would suggest wearing close toe shoes to avoid stepping on anything inappropriate for the sidewalks/streets.
