The older other guy who i had less interaction was quite pleasant too. He offered me herb tea while I was waiting for Marco to return. For 400 soles Marco gave me a tour of the aquaducts, ancient uncovered and preserved Nasca graves, and ancient pyramids that were uncovered starting in 1982; he offered the tour evening i arrived. Marco had offered to sign me up for a flight over the Nazca lines just after I made my reservation but I made own reservation with Alas Peruanas. It cost more but was a longer tour and with just one other tourist in a 4-seat plane. The plane tour company picked me up at 8:30am; i hadn't signed up for one of the ground tours advertized on trip advisor because I was afraid it would conflict with my plane tour. But Marco was able to start driving me at 2:30pm... i was able to complete the plane tour, eat, and return to the hotel with time to spare. The room had an electric fan i was able to use to help dry clothes i hand washed...

At the guest house, all units come with a wardrobe and a flat-screen TV. Free WiFi is accessible to all guests, while some rooms have a terrace. At the guest house, each unit has bed linen and towels. This was more like a home stay than a hotel or hostel. A truly lovely family for which nothing was too much trouble. The owner was at the bus station, at night ready to pick us up and delivered us back there for our bus trip out. He was very helpful organising trips, showing us the town, recommending restaurants, sharing some of the history etc. Simple breakfast (optional extra) - scrambled eggs, bun, jam an avocado, lovely fruit juice, tea or coffee. Twin room with wardrobe, small table and 2 chairs. Small bathroom with tepid shower, which is all that was needed with temperatures in the low 30s. Fan only which made the nights pretty warm. There were chill out areas with comfy sofas, tables and chairs if you needed to work. Wifi tended to drop in and out from time to time. Outstanding hospitality.

An American breakfast is available at the guest house. We are happy that we stayed at Casa de Ana. They arranged for an excellent Nazca Lines flight, and the afternoon tour of the nearby archeological sights by Julio was the highlight. We highly recommend doing the tour to Cahuachi and the Chauchilla Cemetery with him.

Nazca is very small, you're only 5 min walk from the main square and 10 from the bus terminal. The lady that welcomed us was very nice and helpful, gave us a lot of advice on what to do and see.

Staff are so lovely and helpful. Breakfast is amazing and includes a beautiful fresh fruit and yogurt bowl. Shower was perfect. Gorgeous view of the mountains from the end of the street.
