Before even arriving, we appreciated Chip & Yessica’s prompt responses to our questions & their efficiency in arranging details like airport pick-up. The hostel is in a great location. It has amazing views over the river. Conveniently located behind a fruit & vegetable market, it is also only a block or so from the scenic Malecon & the main historic plaza. The hostel is magical. The high-ceilinged rooms are completely covered with vividly coloured murals. It reeks of charm. We took a room with a private bathroom. It was huge & the one wall was solid window looking out onto the river. The room is well-appointed with a bar fridge, reading lamps, etc. linens & great wifi provided. The common room (where an excellent breakfast can be served) also has these amazing windows & views. Chip speaks English & he & Yessica have been in Iquitos a long while so can answer all questions.

This is such a lovely little hostel to stay at for a few nights when in Iquitos! Sara and everyone who works there are super friendly and lovely people and really help to make you feel at home with great recommendations and just a warm and welcoming nature. I really recomment this spot for a great price, and a brilliant experience!

The wifi is intermittent, but seems to be the norm throughout Iquitos. Excellent value for money too. It's perfect, a 10/10.

The atmosphere was tranquil, surrounded by beautiful plants and trees. The rooms are a decent size, clean and comfortable. The host was very helpful with local information. It's close enough to walk to shops and restaurants, but quiet enough not to hear the noise of traffic. I spent my mornings sipping coffee on the veranda listening to the birds. Definitely recommend this as a place to stay. It's also just a couple of km from the airport, which makes it easy for travel.

I booked last minute and arrived late but they organized a super reliable transfer from the bus station. They also helped me get a hammock for my slow boat journey to Iquitos. Early in the morning, they provided another reliable transfer to the boat. The room is comfortable and the big smart tv is a nice touch.
