From sharing English phrases for Quechua with Ernesto to drinking local tea, watching the sunsets, to hiking the local trails, I can not recommend enough.

Amantani Pachatata Lodge ligger i Amantani. Her er en have og en terrasse. Nogle værelser på overnatningsstedet har en balkon med udsigt til byen. Vidal and Sonia were great hosts! The house and the room were really nice and clean, and Sonia cooked some nice meals for us. Vidal helped us organise the transport to and from the island, including the tour of the Uros and Taquile islands, and he accompanied us from and to the port.

We didn’t feel like guests—more like friends—which made the experience truly special. We’ve been traveling for a year, and this stay was definitely one of the highlights of our entire trip!
