It is located 1.1 km from Plaza de Armas Puno and offers a concierge service. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. Such a nice surprise! Very nice and helpful staff, comfortable and new room. Great if you want to relax. We´re sorry we only stayed one night before our bus to Cusco, this is the place where we would happily stay longer. And great value!

The simply-furnished rooms at Pukara House include cable TV, a private bathroom and a safety deposit box. Amazing hot shower - good pressure, very hot water. The room was very clean and spacious. There was a small heater in the room, which definitely helped to keep the room warmer, taking in account that it was -2-4C outside at night. Breakfast was simple but decent - scrambled egg, fresh juice, fruits, bread, cheese, coffee, etc. Staff was very nice and sweet, I think they spoke only Spanish (though I didn't try any English with them) The internet also worked well, though I didn't use it much
