Offering rooms with impeccable rustic style décor and garden views, this inn just 30 km off Machu Picchu, features red-tiled terraced Spanish galleries and views of the surrounding scenery. We loved the location, it was very convenient being inside the train station. The breakfast was spectacular. Having to-order meals for that price was great.

They were lovely, attentive and offered everything would have needed. The location and amenities were top notch and the room cozy. Breakfast was exceptional and the view over town from the loft was spectacular. Highly recommend staying here if you’re staying in Ollantaytambo

Pizza oven dinner was amazing, friendly cat and full llama emporium next door to the garden. The beds were very cosy and the breakfast was absolutely superb.

The room was spotless and there was a great selection of welcoming tea. Janny and her family are lovely. They made me feel very confortable from the moment I walked in. Janny has been very helpful and she provided me a hiking map of the surroundings. The place feels super safe. There is a nice inner courtyard with a table that is perfect for evening reading and also a beautiful garden at the back with mountain view. There is a very good vibe at this place and it was perfect for resting after extenuating travel throughout the country.

Situated on the foothills of Pinkuylluna, a sacred Inca mountain, Apu Lodge features cosy regional decor with exposed stones and colourful tapestries. The breakfast had a great variety of fruit, yogurt and granola, as well as an omelet cooked to order. The orange juice was fresh squeezed, and delicious. It exceeded our expectations! The location of the grounds was AMAZING!! We had a great view of many ruins. The lodge Is nestled at the base of one of the huge mountains. Such a BEAUTIFUL location!! The grounds were covered in many different flowers, and a large variety of fruit trees. We enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks, enjoying the tranquility. We also loved how close it was to the town square. We highly recommend staying here the night before going to Machu Pichu, to allow for a shorter train ride, than if you came from Cusco. It breaks up the trip. If you can, stay at least 2 nights!!
