I’ve been to many hostiles all over the world and they have always given me a basic, cheap hotel vibe. But the Wolf Totem is extremely unique with its own style, and has an amazing view and you could just stay there all day and have fun. A Great place to socialize and meet fellow travellers and to relax. I Definitely will go again.

Jorge was very helpful and served a great breakfast with local fruits, cheeses and bread.

Featuring free WiFi and a terrace, Kamma Guest House offers accommodation in Ollantaytambo, 42 km from Cusco. The location can’t be best. The hosts were super kind and accommodating, the beds were comfy and warm, and the breakfast room has amazing views. The breakfast itself was excellent - eggs, fresh regional bread, pressed coffee, fruit. We highly recommend this place!

I had the most incredible stay at Casa De La Chola near Ollantaytambo! The property itself is breathtaking, with stunning mountain views and cozy living areas framed by huge glass windows that let you soak in the scenery. The rooms are spotless and full of charm, decorated with delightful Peruvian-themed touches that make them feel both comfortable and unique. A highlight of our stay was the resident black cat, who stole our hearts! This sweet kitty would join us in the living room for cozy cuddles each night and be there to greet us in the morning right outside our door. We miss him so much already! The hospitality was beyond our expectations. Tony, the owner, is a phenomenal chef who prepared delicious breakfasts for us each morning—perfectly cooked eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, fresh-squeezed juice, and rich Peruvian coffee. We also loved the Sunday pizza night, where Tony made each pizza from scratch and baked it in his impressive brick oven; they were some of the best pizzas we've ever had! One evening, we wanted something lighter, and Tony made us a warm, hearty chicken soup that was absolutely delicious. The location was also ideal. It’s only about a 15-minute drive to Ollantaytambo town, and Tony was happy to help us arrange a taxi when we needed one, especially for our early-morning trip to the train station to Machu Picchu. He even packed us a breakfast to go, which was such a thoughtful touch. The peaceful, tranquil atmosphere at Casa De La Chola made it the perfect retreat after exploring. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and beautiful stay near Ollantaytambo.

She always responded to everything we need and she was very caring towards my mother when she had knee pain, helping us to order a taxi for a reasonable rate. Great location We paid extra for the heater since we stayed in winter. Breakfast was delicious and fresh and the coffee was incredible Overall I will come back because Jenny makes the stay so much more comfortable and enjoyable

The room was comfortable, and everyone there was super friendly and helpful—always with a smile! We had a really pleasant and relaxing stay.

Situated on the foothills of Pinkuylluna, a sacred Inca mountain, Apu Lodge features cosy regional decor with exposed stones and colourful tapestries. The breakfast had a great variety of fruit, yogurt and granola, as well as an omelet cooked to order. The orange juice was fresh squeezed, and delicious. It exceeded our expectations! The location of the grounds was AMAZING!! We had a great view of many ruins. The lodge Is nestled at the base of one of the huge mountains. Such a BEAUTIFUL location!! The grounds were covered in many different flowers, and a large variety of fruit trees. We enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks, enjoying the tranquility. We also loved how close it was to the town square. We highly recommend staying here the night before going to Machu Pichu, to allow for a shorter train ride, than if you came from Cusco. It breaks up the trip. If you can, stay at least 2 nights!!
