Offering free WiFi access and a flat-screen TV in each private room, Alojamentos Vitinho - Vila Nova Milfontes is located in Vila Nova de Milfontes, 800 metres from the centre. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Love the room just wish we had more chance to use the patio (couldn’t this time because of the weather). Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

The room was very comfortable, with a spacious bathroom, and the entire property was beautiful, offering a peaceful escape in nature. I truly appreciated the warm hospitality and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming stay. Can’t wait to return!

It's an exceptional accommodation in an old house that is completely renovated with an original modern design, excellent facilities, hospitable, friendly, helpful and professional staff with a special atmosphere. Everything is new and very clean. The breakfast is very good. It's quiet and special. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and strongly recommend the others to have such a wonderful experience.

The hotel itself is like a step back in time, with each room styled uniquely to reflect the charm of a traditional Portuguese home. It’s full of character but still manages to be incredibly comfortable and inviting. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Gonçalo, the General Manager. He showed us around and shared the hotel’s history, which added so much depth to our stay. He was friendly, approachable, and clearly passionate about the place, which really set the tone for the entire experience. The hotel’s atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, and the pool area, though small, is beautifully designed - a perfect spot to relax and take in the serene surroundings. But let’s talk about the food - because it was the absolute highlight of our stay. Trust me, as someone who’s a serious foodie and has eaten at countless restaurants, this is not a compliment I give lightly: it was the best food I’ve ever had. The head chef is not just talented but also incredibly warm and passionate. Each dish was a masterpiece, rooted in traditional Portuguese flavors, and the chef took the time to explain the story behind each one. We even had a great chat and discovered he’s a Manchester fan (great taste!) Every bite was an experience, and the meals are something we’ll be dreaming about for years to come. Casa Az-Zagal is a truly special place. From the welcoming staff to the peaceful setting and the unforgettable food, it’s a stay we’ll always remember. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels both authentic and luxurious, this is it - you won’t regret it!
