The place is perfectly located, at a walkable distance (5 min) of a free parking lot, close to restaurants, tourist attractions and right next to the aqueduct. The Guesthouse is very well maintained, clean and tidy. The common spaces have everything you might need and are spotless, plus has a top terrace with a lovely view! The room is spacious, very clean, really pretty and comfortable. The beds are comfy and warm, and you have extra blankets in case you get cold. There's also air conditioner if you need it. The private bathroom is spotless. We were received by Carla, the owner, who is extremely attentive, speaks many languages, knows a lot about Evora, helps out with local tips (which are very much appreciated!) and with basically anything you might need. She's very quick at answering messages, so you will feel she has your back at all times during your stay and even after! She goes the extra mile for sure <3 We left something at the guesthouse, and she made sure we get it back and helped us a lot during our stay. We absolutely recommend this place!

This property is located in the country side on a 5-minute drive out of Évora, one of Portugal’s most historic cities and the famed Roman Temple. * Very kind, helpful hosts/proprietors, who are available to let you in at the gate when you first arrive and call them. They also explain "rules" of the property clearly and show you to your room, and check if you are interested in arranging a breakfast / other meal for an additional fee. * Beautiful property exactly as described (there are plenty of animals around the property) * A small part of the house is available at night-time, only for access to some paid food+drink the hosts make available (wine, beer, some food), as well as some free food items (cake, water, possibly coffee, I believe) * I had a car and parking was very easy as well. In my case, I was able to park right in front of my building.

We loved our stay here! The host Victor en his wife were so friendly! Unfortunately I was sick during my stay here but Victor kept checking on me and asking if I needed anything! I will have to come back to explore Évora and will definitely stay here again!

Casa Saramago is a quaint property, located in Monsaraz, a medieval village classified as a National Monument. We loved the traditional warmth of the place and the family and folks who owned Casa Sarmago. We were there during the early part of their season and still we were treated like royalty. Breakfast was delicious and varied and we enjoyed it in the sunny patio.

Just 2km from Monsaraz Castle, Monte Alerta is surrounded by a meditation garden, organic orchard and next to the largest artificial lake in Europe, the Alqueva. Very nice owner, great breakfast, pool and comfortable room
