Located in Mesão Frio, a 35-minute drive from Lamego, Imaginário d´El Rei features a seasonal outdoor pool and sun terrace. Our stay was absolutely perfect, we enjoyed every minute! We were welcomed with homemade port wine and really good recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The room was very clean and cleaned daily, The air conditioning was working very well and made our stay convenient on really hot days. We enjoyed breakfast and infinity pool, and a jacuzzi in the evening as well. Overall our stay was exceptional and we will definitely recommend this gem of Dou ro valley and will arrange another trip to come back!

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. The place is fantastic, better than we expected! Great staff and warm welcoming, they service us their homemade excellent port when we arrived. The room is very spacious and charming with elegant antique furnitures, great atmosphere! The dinner was amazing! Great food and wine, they were very kind to serve us with another pre-drink of port, lots of great red wine during the dinner and with a 40years port after dinner. Breakfast is also nice and fresh! Our stay couldn’t have been more perfect. Our hosts were so kind and caring we felt like they had become our friends. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The breakfast offerings were delicious and we had home cooked four course dinners both evenings that were very satisfying. Our hosts arranged a winery tour for us that we greatly enjoyed.

Perfect location to visit wineries! Amazing little villa with beautiful surroundings! Just out of this world amazing staff! The daily fresh bread and a fridge stock with breakfast items were certainly a highlight! All this on top of the wine produced at Monte Travesso!

Small details in the decoration made it unique and unforgettable, the host was very helpful and her two cats really made the end of my trip worthwhile.
