Featuring free WiFi, São Francisco Accommodation is a renovated building with 6 floors and a lift. It offers modern rooms in Funchal, within a 5-minute walk from the harbour. Breakfast very good, everything fresh (slices of cheese, 3 kind of slices meat, butter, jams, honey, joghurts, cereal, milk, cooked eggs, tomatoes, mozzarella, salad, fruits, juices, teas, coffee machine with all type of coffees, hot chocolate, 2 types of bread, 4 types of breadrolls). A lady at the mornings cares about breakfast - very clean, quick and nice. Lidia at reception also extremely nice, was making phone calls about my reserved trips etc. I got a towel for our trip just in case of swimming in volcanic pool, we could leave our luggage till collection of airport taxi. All staff was very nice. They cared about us. At the arrival bottle of wine and a cake! :-) Nice surprise. We highly reccommend this place. Location brilliant!!!

Situated in a restored 18th-century home, Casa Da Piedade offers a lounge with fireplace, outdoor garden with barbecue and brightly decorated rooms. Wi-Fi and parking are free. Received the most warmest welcome, so many small details (like a taste of wine and pastry served as welcome) that let you know how much they care about their guests. Breakfeast was freshly served and varied. Loved the style of the room and house, the garden and view is also beautiful and can only recommend a walk up to the chapel.

It was a lovely room. The kitchen and coffee maker were nice to have. The grocery store was close by and Sao Vicente was also easily accessible from this location.

Balcony in Room 5 was nice to sit and have a beer from the local supermarket (the coffee/pastry shop and small supermarket right past the church are great - staff speak either great English or pretty good English). We overlooked the water- nice. I posted a pic from the balcony. There was also a skylight over the bed if you like stars. Housekeeping was wonderful, and we asked Pedro (very very responsive) for extra towels on Saturday because they're off on Sunday. No problem. Fridge is nice, coffee/pods provided in room were also great, but it was nice to wander down to one of the shops after a day of hiking/sightseeing and sit and have a cup outside. Also- nice places to eat all around, O Recante was fabulous (oh, I'll remember that dessert for a long time) and we had a super nice inexpensive dinner at Muralha's Bar. I can't find any fault with the place other than what I'm sure will be a brief one as they're apparently enlarging the parking area (if they haven't finished already!).

They offer pick-up and drop-off for 5€/pers from and to the ferry terminal which is really nice and their communication was excellent ! The rooms were clean, spacious, really comfortable and the breakfast was so delicious and generous. They also offer to rent some quads with them for a very affordable price which we did and it was a great way to discover the island. And the host were just amazing. They were nice, thoughtful, always giving us recommendations on what to visit, where to go and to eat. They went above and beyond to make our stay at their place a fantastic experience. I truly recommend this place.

The terrace has lovely views in the evening and it’s everything you need for a private, comfy stay. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. We stayed for two nights and it was a great base from which to explore Madeira’s central hikes.

The host is very available, responsive, friendly and welcoming. Check in is completely seamless. The property has a beautiful, sizable garden with a great view of the town and ocean. My partner and I absolutely loved our stay in this property because of all the attention to detail that the host put towards the furnishing and decoration of the apartment, which is a rarity. Some places are furnished expensively but in an impersonal and cold style, but this one is truly someone's home, with great character, that the host is sharing with you.

Nằm ở Arco da Calheta, cách Bãi biển Caminho Faja do Mar 2.5 km, THE ARTIST GUEST HOUSE Room Only with Shared Breakfast Area nhìn ra núi. amazing house built with love. communicative and helpful owners. spacious and clean, you feel like home here. fully equipped kitchen, the only thing i missed is oil and spices. you can ask to wash your clothes. amazing view from the balcony and kitchen.
