Convenient parking garage down the street. Hotel is located in a nice shopping district. The place was so great and comfortable we booked a night on our return journey.

The photos truly do not do it justice. The house is located on a quiet fenced country estate, with a variety of housing options. This particular unit shares an incredibly beautiful courtyard, with comfortable furniture and a beautiful fountain / (wading pool?) with one other unit, but feels quite private. The house itself is quite large and beautifully decorated with artwork and historic artifacts. The place is modern, clean, and comfortable. We were actually quite disappointed that our schedule only allowed us to stay one night on this visit, as the home was quite simply wonderful.

Great location as lots of the apartments in Tomar town don't have parking, here you park right outside the house with a great view up to the monastery up on the hill above. The old town area is also a through route for traffic so is noisier at night, but, because its slightly out of town, this guest house is nice and quiet, so bear this in mind if you are a light sleeper. It's just a 5 minute walk down a gentle hill to the old town part of Tomar, you'll find restaurants and bars this side with more just a few minutes walk over the bridge. The house has two air conditioners (we had them on heating as it was February), one in the main room and one in the bedroom. As it has a tile floor for the heat of the summer, in the winter months you'll need some slippers to walk around in. It has a full kitchen with gas oven, fridge, stove top, toaster, coffee machine etc, pots pans, cutlery, plates etc. If you need a food shop there is a Lidl and other supermarkets 5 mins drive away. Nice big kitchen table to eat on and a sofa to watch TV on. Bathroom with nice hot shower, towels are provided Free WiFi and free night security provided by Lady the dog (very friendly) with back up provided by the cat, also very friendly. Alexandra, the host, was in touch with us a few days before we arrived and gave us directions if we needed them. She made sure we felt welcome and couldn't help us enough. You need to check out her bar/restaurant in the old town for some Portuguese style Tapas as well as bigger meals. She is also an expert on all things Tomar and speaks very good English We don't have any negatives about our stay at all.

Property owners were very accommodating and kind. Pool was a bliss. Enjoyed the pool fun. Very hot temperature during our stay in Fatima. . Kitchen well- equipped. We cooked some of our meals. We were family of 6. Washed clothes. Like home ! Very clean house. View was spectacular. House is 10-15min walk to sanctuary. Rosa was very nice. She helped with evertyhing we needed. We requested a taxi and booked for us to bring us to Fatima bus terminal. (with heavy luggages)
