Very comfortable room with heat! On the cold, wet, rainy day we arrived this was a welcome and somewhat unexpected treat (many places in Portugal do not have heat). The concept of the house, spacious rooms around a courtyard in a wonderfully renovated old building, has been done quite well. Super location for seeing all of historic Santarém. Convenient parking garage down the street. Hotel is located in a nice shopping district. The place was so great and comfortable we booked a night on our return journey.

He was readily touchable via the WhatsUp app. His Casa was very clean and equipped with necessary foods, fruit, and drinks, which I think are comparable in price to those in a supermarket. More importantly, he was willing to help us to stay comfortably in his Casa.

Paula is the most gracious host, nothing was a problem. I felt like a family member, I was picked up from the station, and saw the end of day with some beautiful wines, dips local cheese and a light dinner. The breakfast was plentiful.

This house is AMAZING! The photos truly do not do it justice. The house is located on a quiet fenced country estate, with a variety of housing options. This particular unit shares an incredibly beautiful courtyard, with comfortable furniture and a beautiful fountain / (wading pool?) with one other unit, but feels quite private. The house itself is quite large and beautifully decorated with artwork and historic artifacts. The place is modern, clean, and comfortable. We were actually quite disappointed that our schedule only allowed us to stay one night on this visit, as the home was quite simply wonderful.
