Located in the centre of Manteigas, Casa D’Avenida is a newly renovated family house, sited within the Serra da Estrela Natural Park.

The property features 4 elegantly decorated double bedrooms, all equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The room had a comfy bed and a nice little balcony with mountain view (due to very bad weather we couldn't use it, unfortunately). Downstairs there is a nice seating area with an oven which we used to get dry and warm up after some very rainy hikes. The guest house is located right at the little stream flowing through Manteigas, so restaurants and shops are right around the corner. (We recommend Infusao, just a couple of steps up the stream from the guest house.) The breakfast was amazing and very extensive, even when only us two were left at the hotel. Best thing: we could pack bread etc for lunch, tea and coffee were always available downstairs, as was the amazing home-made cake. We were looking forward to this after every hike.

Perfect location with plenty of shop's ,cafe's and restaurants within walking distance. Clean room with comfortable bed and sufficient water pressure in the shower! Highly recommend !

The guest house has spacious chalets, decorated with wooden furniture and art works in live colours. Each chalet has a kitchen, a dining area, and a furnished balcony overlooking the surrounding area. The hoast was fantastic, helpfull and assisting with any needs or advices we had or asked. The accomodation is based in small village where the old houses are renewed and arranged in traditional look. The restaurant is close by, it's specious and breakfast choice is very good. Recomendation to anyone who visits Serra de Estrella. Owner has several dogs and they are all around, very friendly.

All design details are carefully coordinated, from the embroided towels to the tableware to the curtains. It’s clear that the owners love what they’re doing and they’re taking care of their place with immense carefulness and love. The host was incredibly sweet and helpful, and the terrace downstairs to watch the stars from was a great add-on. We can highly recommend this place!

Housed in a building dating from 1950, this apartment is 40 km from Manteigas Hot Springs and 30 km from Beit Eliahu Synagogue. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Guarda Castle is 600 metres away. Great location, nice apartment. It had everything that we needed for a great stay. The host was very responsive. There are good restaurants near and it was a quiet place to relax when not visiting
