Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. The hotel is in a beautiful location and the rooms are spacious. The best thing is the friendly staff and the shared dinners with other hotel guests. Excellent food and company! I highly recommend this place.

Very comfortable beds and large spacious room. Had a heat pump and very warm with great views. Parking easy outside the guest house. Great with a baby from high chair, toys, considered at meals (baby friendly options), and great cot with linen. Highly recommend adding on the dinner, was exceptional. Hosts are fantastic with lots of recommendations and very friendly. Our baby loved playing at the guest house with them. Perfect stay and can’t recommend enough.

Best location for the purpose of our trip - experiencing the historical train. The room was nice and comfortable, clean and well taken care of. Also close to so many lovely restaurants and the guesthouse has a cafe too. The staff were so lovely and nice too, very accommodating. Highly recommended.

He welcomed us with warmth and care, showing generosity in everything – from recommendations to pleasant surprises. It was obvious he poured his heart into creating this place. The apartment itself was incredibly cozy and thoughtfully equipped: a fully stocked kitchen, a spacious living room, and many important little details. It was the perfect retreat for relaxation. We sincerely recommend this place to anyone seeking a homely atmosphere and an unforgettable experience in the Douro Valley.

Small details in the decoration made it unique and unforgettable, the host was very helpful and her two cats really made the end of my trip worthwhile.
