The Airport House is very near to the airport, is very easy to found it and very recommended if you arrive late in the night. The place was very clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful.

I really liked having my own room instead of a shared room, for a change. There are only four rooms so it is never crowded and I had no trouble accessing one of the two bathrooms and the kitchen. There is individual aircon in each room and even though we had temperatures in the high thirties while I was there, I was always comfortable in my room. The Internet access was fast. There is a shared fridge for your food and the use of a washing machine for a small charge. There is a shared sitting room and dining table, where you are welcome to sit and don't have to stay in your room. Also a courtyard to sit outside where you can eat and chat. There is excellent security with a high metal gate and good locks on the doors and guest rooms. This guesthouse is halfway (12 min walk) between two major stations with buses and the Metro. There are a couple of small supermarkets close by which is very handy. Lastly, the host Christian is a lovely guy who will do his best to make sure you enjoy your stay. I enjoyed chatting with him. He is an experenced traveller himself and makes great conversation. My experience in this guesthouse would encourage me to come back to Bucharest again! I want to see a concert in the Romanian Athenaeum, which you should visit.

This host had nice touches like tea, coffee, and treats. The room was huge and that bathroom was as well. It was nicely decorated. Great communication. Great location but right in the flight path. Well worth the price.
