The house is brand new and beautiful. Breakfast complete. Nice garden to chill. Very friendly staff. Location may seem far from 'center' but it was very quiet far from main road.

Large room decorated beautifully with a lovely view from the balcony. The host was very gracious and offered a delicious chicken soup and bread. The son served cappuccino and ordered a pizza for us but wouldn't allow us to pay for it, which was above and beyond.

Was here for the second time with my family and cannot recommend this property enough. Everything was extremely clean, the location perfect, and the house and our room are well designed and decorated. Our whole family wished we could have stayed longer. I live in Bucharest and will be recommending this place to all my friends (and travelling around Maramureş….. what a wonderful region of Romania).

Firstly the hosts were delightful , very welcoming and helpful. The newly built accommodation was sparkling clean with 5 private rooms , and a shared area with tables and chairs and a sofa . Very close to the heart of town with restaurants and supermarkets a short walk away . A sunny courtyard at the entrance was also much appreciated. We were guests for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Modern House , and the welcoming hosts .

The room is clean, and the shower is comfortly modern. Also, the sarmale cooked by the owner for dinner is the best we had in Romania. Highly recommend if you come to Breb.

Mattresses could be just a little bit softer

Amazing place, they are very very welcoming, we had a lot of fun, a lot of talks, they've helped us with pointers, stuff to see around. Food is great, breakfast and dinner. We tasted freshly made horinca as well. We will definitely come back when around the area. Thank you so much 🙏
