The starting point of the ascent to the charming Ljubljana Castle is 350 metres away. Excellent location, right in the center of the pedestrian district. 100% would stay here again. Short walk up to the castle, lots of great restaurants/cafes/bakeries/shopping nearby, and a farmer's market in the square. Our room was a corner unit and looked out onto the river. Clean apartment, comfortable bed, and a nice large bathroom area. Check-in/out was easy as the front desk is staffed throughout the day/night. Music from restaurant below the apartment can be heard with windows open but we enjoyed it. Very little noise when windows closed. The area is touristy but not overly busy, very peaceful/safe city (and country) overall.
