The pension is located 10 minute drive from the main entrance to the Slovenský raj National Park. There is a train (like those small trains for kids in parks, that runs on the road and has three small cars) that stops right next to the pension and takes passengers to and from the National Park. Gabriella, the owner, is a wonderful person and most helpful. She recommends the most interesting trails in the park, prepares delicious dinners, and helps in any way she can. My room was convenient and had everything I needed. There are tables under a pavilion in the back yard, where one can sit, play, and work.

After a long day of cycling we just needed a place to crash. But we got much more than that. The host is really exceptional, he is friendly and you can tell that he likes working with people. After negative experiences we had in Poland due to lack of communication(since almost no one is using English) it was such a refreshment to speak with a local and even manage to understand eachother by using our mother languages(Slovakian and Serbian). The room was very big and cozy, and the kitchen is fully equipped! Hope to see you again!

Penzion St. Martin is situated in the centre of Spišská Kapitula, UNESCO-protected area and offers views of the Spišský Castle as well as a garden, bar and on-site dining. Great property set in a lovely location. The bedroom was big with a large comfortable double bed. The wifi was strong. The bathroom was large. It was great to be able to eat in the garden of the hotel. The garden was secluded being large and surrounded by the old town wall. It was only a short walk from the bus stop. The staff were very nice and friendly.
