AC works great and it was great to have a small balcony. 20 min walking distance to Khao San Area and 8 min walk to Thewet Pier where you can catch the ferries to the main seight seeing areas. Lot’s of good street food around.

The villa is in a perfect location inside the old town. I like how quiet the neighborhood is but how near it is to authentic thai eats and tourist spots like Grand Palace, Giant Swing, and Golden Mountain. There is a 7eleven nearby, vegan restaurant, and cafes. I love the charm and cleanliness of the place. The lounge area and room are super clean. I felt like it is cleaner and smells nicer in Villa Mungkala than in hotels! But the most special thing about our stay is how warm the people managing and running the villa are. IP was super helpful and the other ladies (in the kitchen and reception) were super nice, too! They always ask us if we need anything or if we need help with something. They’ll always welcome us back to the villa with smiles on their faces and it honestly felt like going home to family everytime.

Everything was great! Big room and bathroom, everything clean and comfortable. The location is a bit far from the old town (10 min by scooter), but there’s a bus stop nearby and you can use Grab to get anywhere. Since it’s a residential area it’s very quiet at night.
