Wonderful little family guesthouse in a very quiet neighborhood, that I am always coming back to when in Bangkok. This time I was able to leave my luggage to go on a 10 day trip south with no extra charge. Staff is very friendly, the rooms are beautiful decorated and very clean. AC works great and it was great to have a small balcony. 20 min walking distance to Khao San Area and 8 min walk to Thewet Pier where you can catch the ferries to the main seight seeing areas. Lot’s of good street food around.

Best accommodation we’ve stayed in Bangkok (and I’ve been here many times already to compare). The villa is in a perfect location inside the old town. I like how quiet the neighborhood is but how near it is to authentic thai eats and tourist spots like Grand Palace, Giant Swing, and Golden Mountain. There is a 7eleven nearby, vegan restaurant, and cafes. I love the charm and cleanliness of the place. The lounge area and room are super clean. I felt like it is cleaner and smells nicer in Villa Mungkala than in hotels! But the most special thing about our stay is how warm the people managing and running the villa are. IP was super helpful and the other ladies (in the kitchen and reception) were super nice, too! They always ask us if we need anything or if we need help with something. They’ll always welcome us back to the villa with smiles on their faces and it honestly felt like going home to family everytime.

La habitación es amplia y limpia, huele genial. Los detalles hacen que te sientas muy cómodo. Tiene incluso una mesa y dos sillones donde nos sentamos a tomar un aperitivo. El hotel en general es bonito, limpio y cómodo. La persona que nos atendió muy amable y servicial. El último día nos cuidaron las maletas hasta la noche cuando salía nuestro avión y nos pudimos quedar un buen rato en el porche descansando pese a no tener habitación, el chico que nos atendió incluso nos encendió el ventilador. Está bien situado cerca del metro y se llega al centro en nada La zona es cómoda, con puestos de comida y supermercados a un paso. Da sensación de seguridad. Nos vamos encantados.

The Tangerine Guesthouse está muy bien situado en el barrio de Sathorn, Bangkok, a 2,9 km de One Bangkok, a 3,8 km de Parque Lumpini y a 4,3 km de Centro comercial MBK Center. Great location (multiple options for breakfast/dinner in the sorroundings, close to the BTS), large room/apartment, very confortable beds. Unbeatable Quality-to-Cost ratio. We will definitevely repeat during our next visit to Bangkok.

Air conditioning and WiFi worked perfectly. There was even free coffee to make yourself in the foyer. Very quick and friendly answers to questions in advance. We would love to come back!
