Our stay at this guesthouse was excellent in every way. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable, with a spacious shower. We appreciated the mosquito-covered window, which allowed us to enjoy fresh air safely. The guesthouse has a beautiful central garden with lush greenery and a charming fish pond, creating a peaceful oasis. Having on-site laundry facilities was incredibly convenient, just ฿10 for detergent meant we didn’t need to go out to buy anything, and we used it twice during our stay. Shared spaces were also a highlight. There’s a large well-equipped kitchen and a seating area near our room on the second floor, where we could work in the mornings. The guesthouse overlooks a stunning temple across the street, adding to its charm. Snacks, cookies, and eggs were provided for guests, which was a thoughtful touch. The owner is wonderful, very detail-oriented and attentive. The location is ideal, in the old city. While the guesthouse is near a busy road, and it can be a bit noisy, it didn’t bother us at all. However, if you’re looking for absolute quiet, keep this in mind. Overall, everything - from the service to the amenities and the atmosphere - was perfect. My partner even said it’s the best place he’s stayed in Southeast Asia, which says a lot! We loved it here, and when we return to Chiang Mai, this is where we’ll stay again.

The host family of four are very warm and kind. They clean the house very well every day. I stayed there for 11 nights. Every day I could walk to the temples, cafes, and alleys in the old city of Chiang Mai. It is a very convenient place to stay. There are traditional markets, night markets, 7-11, and taxi stations nearby. The living functions are very convenient. The room rate is very reasonable and the CP value is very high. I will stay here again when I go to Chiang Mai next time.

It’s so clean and comfy and cozy, great value for money. Jackie is such a great host and there are so many activity brochures and board games, and most of all the breakfast is unreal! My favorite place in Chiang Mai by far I would highly recommend it!

Very helpful staff, clean, comfortable rooms with good AC. I stayed for almost a month in Baansuan due to a health related problem and can't complain about anything really.

The staff is attentive to your every need and very kind. Also helpful with tips and recommendations.

Situated in a very quiet and clean neighborhood, in the centre of Chiang Mai old town. The room was extremely clean and simply - but very tastefully - decorated. The room was also very well equipped, with fast Wi-fi and good lighting. The bed was extremely comfortable. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and all of these factors would make us choose Lemon Guesthouse again when we visit Chiang Mai next time. We can highly recommend this place!

I wanted a hotel close to the airport! It was quite cheap and that's why I was even more surprised to see the comfortable room! It's definitely a place where one could stay longer! The check in was very uncomplicated (I could come any time the key was in the room), everything was clean and the hostess even dropped me off at the airport early in the morning, which was very helpful!
