A nice, decent-sized and comfortable room with a porch area to relax on. The wifi wasn't terrible, but a bit spotty. I like the location - halfway between the 7/11 and the Mon bridge/lake, so it feels like you can walk anywhere. The owners are very hands-off, but said to call him if I needed anything at all. I left my used cups and garbage bin on the porch on morning and it was all cleaned and taken care of when I got home in the evening. Great!

P.Y. Guest House is 200 meres from JEATH War Museum. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and free drinking water. The host couple are amazing, so friendly, helpful and genuinely nice people. They give great advice on where to go and give you a lift each time you need to go to the bus or train station. Rooms are basic but a good size and a fridge with water you get each day. The location is perfect with a lovely garden and you're right next to a local market if you fancy a Thai breakfast. Easy bike ride into town to the night markets and main strip, imo if you come to kanchanaburi this is the area you want to stay in. You can hire bikes to get into town only 40 baht and can hire a motorbike if you want to travel further away.

The owner was lovely, gave us lots of local recommendations and was all round attentive, helped us book a taxi to the bus station The accommodation itself was clean, modern, and came with useful amenities such as toothbrushes and toothpaste We really liked the location and the fact that it’s not directly in the centre, it was peaceful and nice to be out of the hustle and bustle. We rented a motorbike for 300baht a day from Vawa Guesthouse and travelled around, was really easy to get to Erawan National Park on the motorbike. Don’t hesitate to stop for food in the unassuming places in the local villages along the way - they’re really good! Side note: Try and attend the Saturday walking market if you’re here over a weekend! We also loved the Khao Soi at Kin Khao Lam Restaurant and the beef brisket noodles at สุดใจเนื้อตุ๋นหมูตุ๋น. Recommend getting a Grab car from the bus station

Grounds are beautiful and our accommodation was spacious and perfect for our large family. The tranquil evenings having a beer on the deck were perfect. The owners were amazing. Yve and Dieng could not be more kind and helpful. They helped with local attraction suggestions including restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and We all felt at home in this oasis. One of our favorite places to stay.

I’ve really like the place that is close to the river! Wonderful venue and quality/price amazing! Obviously: you know what you’re booking! Don’t choose this place if you are not an “open” person.

The care taker of the facility was amazing, she has a lot of heart for the guests. One night she saw me walking down the street in the rain and ran all the way over to give me an umbrella. She always made sure I had fresh towels and water and as a female solo traveler I have never felt more safe and happy than I did here.

Great little bungalow near to mon bridge , room really good , has everything needed for a really nice comfortable stay , lady owner really nice and kind, if you are visiting this area definitely recommend a stay here
