A beautiful Dar in the centre of Sidi Bou Said located on a quiet but accessible side street just metres from the action. The property was beautiful and would be great value for money for up to 4 people. I stayed myself but was still worth it! I was blown away by the traditional architecture and style of the property. Unfortunately I could only stay 2 nights, I’d loved to have stayed longer. The host was very hospitable and helped me arranging payment as you cannot yet pay by credit card. I didn’t have a car, but they offered me free parking pass at the car park nearby.

We truly wished we could have stayed longer. The room was tastefully decorated, elegant, and incredibly comfortable. The terrace offered the most spectacular view and the best sunset in all of Sidi Bou Said. Breakfast was delicious — everything was homemade with fresh ingredients and prepared with such care and attention to detail. Thank you so much for hosting us! We can’t wait to come back to this magical place, in one of the most beautiful villages in Tunisia.

This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Outdoor seating is also available at the apartment. It is a lovely, spacious apartment and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable...breakfast staples (eggs, yogurt, bread, butter, cookies), tea/coffee, toiletries, even toothpaste and extra tooth brushes. There is a big TV with many English channels. Heating is available in the living and bedrooms. A nice small patio to sit outside. There is a laundry machine to use. Owners are right next door for any questions or concerns. We contacted them using WhatsApp. The town center is a bit of a walk from the apartment but nothing too arduous. Make sure you try a Bambalouni (Tunisian donut) in town! The apartment is right up the road from the train station when coming from Tunis, or going to explore Carthage Ruins. I highly recommend staying at Olivia Guesthouse.
