The property feels like a wonderful oasis. It is private, in a convenient location, and spacious. The staff is all very friendly and courteous. I very much enjoyed my stay at Menzel Caja, and I recommend it to others.

Where do I begin? Our stay at Villa Salam was truly the highlight of our trip to Tunisia. From the moment we arrived, we were taken by the beauty and serenity of the property. The villa is absolutely stunning, the architecture reflects traditional Tunisian style with its whitewashed walls, while the interiors are tastefully decorated with local artwork and artisan touches. It feels less like a guesthouse and more like a boutique retreat. Despite being a relatively new property, Villa Salam was incredibly well-equipped. Our room had in-unit air conditioning, a full-length mirror, and a small private balcony with a drying rack (a thoughtful touch).The bathroom had multiple hooks, something so simple but rarely found in other places, and made a big difference for convenience and comfort. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable we experienced during our time in Tunisia, soft, clean, and perfect for a restful night. Each morning, we looked forward to the delicious breakfast, featuring fresh dates picked right from the trees on the property, served with other local delights. It was such a refreshing and nourishing start to the day. The host, Fethi, went above and beyond. He was responsive, warm, and genuinely helpful. When our flight times changed unexpectedly, he arranged both airport pickup and drop-off, ensuring we weren’t overcharged or misled by taxi services. His hospitality and dedication to his guests truly made us feel welcome and safe. He’s clearly invested in making Villa Salam a special experience for travelers, and it shows in every detail. The location is also ideal, just 15 minutes by car to Houmt Souk and Djerbahood, making it easy to explore the island while having a peaceful base to return to. We’re already recommending Villa Salam to all our friends and family, and we sincerely hope to return someday. Thank you, Fethi, for making our time in Djerba so memorable. Michela and Khalil could not be more welcoming. It is clear from the outset that they want guests to feel at home and have a great stay. We certainly did. We opted to have dinner which was a very good decision as the food was delicious. The pool area is lovely and it’s an easy 10minute walk to the beach. We had booked for 1 night but were pleased to be able to stay another one and would have liked even longer. This is a real find and Michela is a gem. Thank you!

We felt welcome and we were given a ton of recommandations. The swimming pool was the cherry on cake.

Maison d'hôtes Dar El Kahina Djerba ở Mezraya có khu vườn, phòng chờ chung và sân hiên phơi nắng với hồ bơi và bữa sáng thực đơn buffet. Isabelle is an amazing host and made us feel welcome all the time! The room is big, it has a nice balcony and everything has been renovated recently. Cleaning standards were way higher than everywhere else in Tunisia. Breakfast was very good, specially the sweet treats, with freshly baked brioche or cakes each morning. Location is good if you have a car. You can walk to the nearest beach, however it's nicer to drive 5/10 min to a beach without all the all inclusive resorts activity.
