Grand Sud, la maison de sable encontra-se em Douz e tem um jardim, salão partilhado, terraço e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. The energy of the place and particularly of the host was lovely. I truly enjoyed my chats with Mohammed as we discussed our views about the desert, the country, life... (Merci Mohammed!) Come here for a different experience to a hotel and still with more than enough comforts. You can arrange excursions with him, all just easy. We went on a dromedary ride in the late afternoon, it was a very relaxing time. The property is located at the very end of the inhabited areas before the Sahara, so there's only the desert around you, and it's easy to move around in your own car or by taxi (5-10 minutes to Douz). All positives.

Dar Barka apresenta uma piscina exterior sazonal, jardim, um terraço e restaurante em Kebili. Os hóspedes podem desfrutar de vistas do jardim. No alojamento, os quartos incluem roupeiro. The hosts were lovely and extremely welcoming and helpful. We had a wonderful time, it could not have been better! The garden is beautiful and the perfect place to relax. Additionally, the food in the restaurant was very good and clearly prepared with love and care. For people exploring the south of Tunisia (and birds or other wildlife), the location is great - supermarkets and tank stations nearby in Kebili - while the Sahara, mountains and salt lake are all within an hour drive. I cannot recommend this place enough, and when we return to Tunisia we will for sure visit Dar Barka again!
