If you're visiting, I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Ideal to relax and enjoy pool and listen to the birds. Very friendly personnel and great breakfast.

Staying at Dar Hkaiem is an experience, the property is the house of Majdi’s grandparents, it got renovated, the property is so clean and authentic and feels like the old good Arabian homes, Majdi has a great positive energy and he’s very kind and inclusive, he deals with his guests as friends, he goes out with them, cook for them, tell them where to eat, which places are the best and even goes with them Hammam (Spa) with them. I indeed recommend Dar Hkaiem and I will definitely come back if I am at Sousse.

We booked this accommodation with no expectations and had the most incredible welcome and stay during our trip to Tunisia. Every staff member was exceptionally welcoming and kind to us. We were treated like family, and we left with the desire to be back. The house will surprise you because you can find here the history restored from roman ruins to arab-andalusian and tunisian architecture. The rooftop is a stunning extra, opening a window to the most secluded parts of the medina. The only thing is that you should keep your wits about you at nighttime since it is close to the heart of the medina. But we personally have not had any troubles. Just do not be out too late without a local with you. In any case, the staff are super helpful and you can contact them by whatsapp at any time.

Really recommend it, it was very pleasant and easy to check in. Location is great, you never really get lost since it is in the corner of the medina, just follow the city wall 😄 The breakfast varies depending on the day but always very filling and good. We could leave the bags almost all day after the check-out (for free of course). You also have a terrace where you can rest and get a bit of sun. Thank you so much! Aychek!

Dar Baaziz is located in Sousse. The property is 400 meters from Grand Sousse Mosque. Free Wi-Fi access is available in all areas. The breakfast was very good, and the beds were comfortable. The terrace was great.
