Dar Hamouda is a charming historical dar in the best and liveliest part of the Medina of Tunis. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom modern. The hosts (Mrs. Amel and her husband) were wonderful and very helpful. We particularly liked the joint breakfast where you could meet and talk to other guests at the dar. This is always a good opportunity to exchange experiences and meet people when travelling.

Their spa and hammam-treatment was a really lovely experience. It is close walk to the old medina from the dar, and to the end of the medina to catch cheap taxis. Highly recommend.

Situado a 1.5 km de Sidi Bou Said Beach, Raf Guest House ofrece un jardín, y hospedaje climatizado con patio y WiFi gratis. The host Raouf was so one of a kind and really made me felt like home. Do not expect the place like a hotel. Sidi bou Said does not have 5 star hotels but this place is like your summer house. Decorated with classical furnitures and elegantly artistic details. The rooms are specious, clean and beautiful. It is just 3 mins walk away from the center. We also exchanged with Raouf about cultures and the history of Sidi bou Said during breakfasts. One of my favourite stays as solo traveller.
