Great quiet location, yet close to all the historic sites and transport. Room was clean and excellent breakfasts on the terrace. Great base to explore Istanbul

This hotel far exceeded our expectations and was a wonderful stay. It's in a great location for sightseeing, with restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets all nearby. The room was clean and spacious (even better than the photos on the website show) and had all the amenities we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were also very clean and had plenty of kitchenware and amenities. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and made us feel right at home. We were in Istanbul for 16 days and initially booked this hotel for 6 nights, but ended up extending our stay three times and spending all 16 days at the hotel. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Istanbul and highly recommend it.

Wonderful family-run hotel - the people were wonderful, the location is perfect (very close to Agia Sofia and the Blue Mosque), and it was excellent value for money.

Gul Sultan Hotel is situated less than a 5-minute walk from Topkapi Palace, the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. The hotel’s summer terrace features views of the Sea of Marmara. Excellent Location in the heart of the old city, walking distance from the attractions and plenty of good restaurants. Hotel is very clean, and staff are super friendly and gentle. Highly recommended.
