Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, The Poppy Georgetown Guesthouse and Gardens is set in Washington, 700 metres from The Capitol. Cannot rate The Poppy higher. Amazing stay. Incredible hospitality. We got in at 6am, and basically had to sit in a park close by, but we took our chances and went back, just as a staff member was leaving. She was very happy to let us leave our bags, but did a quick check and saw our room hadnt been occupied the night before, so she let us in! An absolute living legend! Our room was stunning, we ended up staying another night. We LOVED our stay here. Highly highly recommend. Great location in a nice quiet part of Georgetown, but a short walk to M street.

This is distinctly different - it's more like staying in a spotless, recently renovated hotel suite with a kitchen. The Metro is a short walk and a wide variety of restaurants nearby. I will stay here again.

Tanger outlet is just 5min drive. The host can drive you from and to airport, outlet, or else. Recommend!

I love the location - I had a convention I was attending at the Gaylord and it was the perfect place to get to the Convention Center. A quick little jaunt down the street and I was there. It was a safe and quiet location which was perfect!

The room was very comfortable; breakfast was delicious(!) and included fresh herbs, tomatoes, etc., all from the proprietor's lovely garden that actually piped in soft music! The dining area was lovely and looked out through a wall of windows, into the garden. Every table had a lovely view. The cottage, where one finds the breakfast room had a very large collection of hand crafter jewelry, artwork and other lovely, local items for purchase. Finally, the Inn is an easy walk or bike ride (bikes provided at no charge) into town. Loved everything about this place. Highly recommend.
