Moc’s House was a rural oasis after the chaos of Hanoi. The proprietor, Huong, was wonderfully welcoming and an excellent host. We loved the room, the setting and the hospitality. Huong was very comfortable with Google Translate and was happy to accommodate us in any way. The place was spotless, the heater worked well and there was ample hot water for showers. The view over the valley was lovely. The setting would be even more delightful in warmer weather when the beautiful decks could be put to good use. It is a 20-25 minute walk into town (Sunday market).

We stayed here 1 night after our trekking, before returning to Hanoi. The room was spacious, the bathroom was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. We had such a great sleep, and the room was so quiet compared to other hotels we stayed in. The staff were what made the stay, so kind and considerate, they helped us book our bus and were just so lovely to communicate with. Would highly recommend!!!
