By staying here, you get a taste of what travel and lodging were like a century ago. The building, furnishing and overall experience brings you back to the early 1900s, and yet the hotel provides great comfort for modern travelers. It's really like an oasis as you travel through Zimbabwe. While located in the city center, it's very safe, and quiet enough at night for you have a good rest. Strongly recommended!

The location was great, close to shops and restaurants. Very clean, spotlessly clean, the beds are comfortable and we had clean linen. A very beautiful garden to relax. The owner, Mrs Mwamuka was very friendly and helpful at all times and the workers were just amazing. I will definitely recommend this place.

Dave was a fantastic host and went the extra mile to ensure we had a lovely experience in Bulawayo - and he succeeded. Other people have commented on the location being somewhat isolated, but in my view it was great being in a quaint neighborhood, and it really didn't take that long to grab a cab to the city center.

Lynn's Guest House was like stepping into paradise! After coming from noisy Victoria Falls, Lynn's garden was the perfect respite. She has created a peaceful setting on her property, and her beautiful gardens attract many birds and butterflies. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast (available at an additional cost) was a delicious and filling traditional English breakfast. Lynn was a gracious host, so friendly and personable, and she made sure we had what we needed. We had difficulty with the wifi reaching us the first night, but Lynn quickly remedied that situation by moving us the next day to a closer room with stronger wifi.
