The room was spotless. Robes were given to us with complimentary slippers, which is always great for comfort. The shower was spacious and had great water pressure / temp control. The bed was very wide and firmly comfortable. Those sheets paired with the soft pillows were miraculous at aiding recovering from fatigue. Hilton always delivers on that. The Wi-Fi was easy to access. There was plenty of free parking.

Great location and hotel is what you’d expect from a Hilton, good quality, great staff and very welcoming. Specifically this hotel being the traditional building parts of it is, it’s visually amazing.

Perfect location. I travelled from Birmingham as I had my works Christmas meal in Chester. This is my 3rd stay at Double Tree by Hilton. Staff are friendly & facilities are amazing

The old style charm and decore of the reception and public areas was fitting the age of the building. Every where was clean ,staff very helpful and polite . The garden area was wonderful, with the statues and lighting. seating areas comfy ,large umbrella canopys with heaters .King size bed ,complementary dressing gowns to use during your stay & slippers .crisps and chocolate bars with the tea and coffee making facilities. Room cleaned every day with fresh towels.

Location was ideal for an overnight stop on a journey from Glasgow to Southampton. Great staff , food and lovely outdoor beer garden.

Some reviews say the Hotel is a little tired, not me. The Hotel does not want to be a Hilton or Holiday Inn, it has an abundance of character. Large bed( comfy) and bedroom. Great food. Nice bar area with good menu. Easy parking. Not far from a park and ride into Chester. Good friendly and helpful staff. Thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Booked a room at this hotel last minute - as in, 15 minutes before our arrival - because our original hotel turned out to be in an awful area with no secure parking. DoubleTree was the breath of fresh air we needed. Lovely comfy king sized bed, nice hot shower, clean, good parking facilities. Felt safe. You can always trust Hilton.
