Everything! The house was lovely and cosy, Roundstone is a beautiful little village and the owner, Mary, is an absolute gem of a woman! We forgot some medication that we had brought for our stay and she instantly called me once she found it and insisted that she mail us to it. If/when you visit you'll see that Roundstone has some award winning bars and seafood, so of course it receives a big recommendation from us. Two establishments to name in particular are The Shamrock Bar and O'Dowds pub, where the staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your food and drinks. The house itself has brilliant insulation from what we could tell (early May, and we got very lucky with the weather) but we didn't even need a fire in the evening, despite the well stocked turf shed and provided fire lighters. The rooms were a great size and even with a 20kg suitcase we had plenty of space. The beds were lovely and firm (for anyone that's conscious of their back 😉) and we collectively slept like logs! The back garden is stunning and they even have a picnic bench to enjoy the lovely weather, and maybe enjoy a disposable bbq if you fancy. All in all, an amazing place to stay, and a lovely village to holiday in. 11/10

I like the location and the facilities. The location of the house is beautiful, not far from Rounstone. If you want to recharge your batteries, this is the place to go. Great place to get away from it all.

The house is exceptional experience. Located just outside Clifton town on elevated site in the valley with unique views on the rolling hills in quite, peaceful settings offer great privacy surrounded with matured landscape. We had the great pleasure to stay in the house, wake up every day to appreciate nature around only wish to spend more time there. Nicely furnish and thoughtful quality interior, appreciate it. Definitely we will Recommend.

A Hidden Gem for a Cozy Getaway! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely accommodation, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the spaciousness and inviting atmosphere. The layout was perfect, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. The decor was both charming and comfortable, creating a warm ambiance that made me feel right at home. The living area was generously sized, with cozy seating that was ideal for curling up with a good book or enjoying good company.     The Cill Cottage is a perfect escape from the noise and the hustles of the big city and very good located to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Connemara. The warm welcome by the wunderful host Geraldine made the perfect start. We enjoyed the beauty of the little island Inishnee surrounded by sheep, the quite, the fresh air and coming "home" to the cosy cottage every day. It was very well equipped, very clean and had a very comfortable bed! We didn't miss anything. And the view from the rooms is amazing.
