We were upgraded on the day we arrived, so our review is for the upgraded property. This property was a surprise and delight, rooms were decorated with a very high level of finish, the accommodation was spacious and comfortable and the location was great we could walk into downtown. Local People cautioned us that the area could be dangerous, but whilst we were wary, we never experienced any real problems. Parking for our car was secure and safe

Perfect location for us and easy to access centre via trolley bus. Couple of local restaurants friendly and lively. Accommodation perfect for family gathering and lots of space. Lovely to have the swimming pool and the host on site was very helpful

House was comfortable, clean. Coffee machine in kitchen. Nice bedrooms, comfy beds. We arrived in dreadful weather, one room leaked rain. Owner responded immediately, came over, fixed it all up. Great service. Street car and a number of buses within a 5 to 10 minute walk. Easy to find and use. Can buy a day pass at Walgreens, a senior pass was 80 cents a day !!. Wow Lyft and Uber also found us easily. We had a great time

That rental house was a real good surprise ! Easy to access to, easy check in with codes, easy to find car spaces in the street : if not just in front of the door you can park in many streets close by. Super clean, comfy, well equipped. Close to Tramway. We were able to use the common table at the rear of the house. washing machine, etc...

The stay at Joey's was the best in our trip so far. He's so welcoming and makes you feel right at home, taking care of every need and going out of his way to get you comfortable. It's like staying at a friend's guest house. The house is also full of personality, unlike any cold hotel that you can be at.

The location on Frenchmen Street was awesome. Close enough to walk to the French Markets and to catch the street car. Having two bedrooms and two bathrooms was a must with two couples travelling together. We got some tips from the locals about where to eat and so glad we did as we wouldn’t have known some of the places were even there.

- Communication was tops with the host/s. - The accommodation itself is beautiful and spacious. Really nice place to stay in, high celings in the downstairs, comfy beds upstairs. Bathrooms were good, shower pressure was perfect. I had a problem with the downstairs shower but was quickly informed that the pipes are "back to front". I.e: hot means cold, cold means hot - downstairs shower only. Upstairs shower was fine! - A/C working perfectly, a relief when returning after an adventure. - Location is a 20 minute walk from the French Quarter (which may be too far for some. It was only troublesome as the humidity was tops during our stay, so it sapped us when walking). - Treme coffee shop 2 minute walk away, great way to start the day! - Quiet area - only one night were a local club was blaring bass, but accommodation kept most of the noise out.
