A sled was provided on the terrace for the child to use.

Everything was perfect, from the moment we arrived we was welcomed in to the home by jannis, showed around, he recommended places to visit and eat in rovaniemi. He provided food for breakfast which was lovely. Will definitely be returning here.

The whole apartmament was very nice, fully equipped, sauna was great, we did not check the fireplace in the end but the overall experience was really good. Joonas was super helpful and was responding very fast. If I'm ever in Rovaniemi, which is likely to happen, I will definitely check if this house is available again.

Host is friendly and always responsive. We also did the activities provided by the villa, they arranged everything beautifully and we had a lot of fun. They also arranged all the transportations for us since we didn’t have a car. The villa is away from town, so we had to make sure we had enough groceries for our stay as there’s no close by grocery. Will definitely come again :)

Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the lake and pool. This cabin was fantastic. Even in the cold weather, it warms up well and is very cozy. Amazingly, I was able to use the hot tub even in -35°C. Everything was perfectly clean, and the host was very communicative and friendly. She took us on a number of fantastic excursions, including a home-cooked Sámi dinner, snowmobiling, and ice fishing, and she is very knowledgable about Sámi culture. She made sure we had all the proper gear for staying warm and took good care of us. The cabin is only a few feet from a lake and also a short walk away from a resort where you can get meals. In the winter, the frozen lake is a perfect spot for viewing aurora. The drive to get there from Ivalo is also very beautiful. If you are willing to drive a little, there are some nice villages and museums in the area as well. I would definitely come back. Thank you, Teija, for a wonderful stay.

The common areas are warm and inviting, creating a cozy atmosphere. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious! They offer plenty of activities, so we were never bored during our four-night stay. Snowmobiling was definitely a highlight and well worth the cost! At first, we were concerned about not renting a car, but the accommodation provides transport for an additional charge. There's also a nearby bus stop with a public bus service running twice a day from Monday to Friday. Alternatively, you can also take a taxi back from Rovaniemi if needed. Overall, our stay was beyond what we expected!
