A wonderful overnight location for travelling to/from Calais. Very peaceful, but close to the major routes. The garden was lovely and we spent some time out there enjoying the weather! The accomdation was clean, well provisioned and it felt very comfortable. We only stayed a night, but could easily stay for longer.

Exceptionally good value for money. Everything you need on hand. Ability to check in late after late ferry to Calais, and very easy to access property. Warm and cozy. One downstairs spacious double bedroom (complete with TV), so no need for anyone with mobility problems to use steep staircase up to mezzanine double bedroom. Comfortable bed. Pleasant rural surrounds. Will return for longer stay.

Very quiet location, bit difficult to find, but this was our second visit. Great location for walks around Cap Griz-Nez, getting a "fruit de mer" from "Le Droit Au But" in Wissant and enjoying it here. Be sure to wake up early and enjoy the playing deer in the field next door. But be silent!!

Les gites du grand saule este o proprietate care se află pe malul mării în Tardinghen, la 2,4 km de Plaja Aval și la 6,5 km de Cap Gris Nez. Great accomodation! All you need is present in the houses, very cosy and warm interior, nice welcome as well. Idealy located between the white and gray cap.
