Located in the centre of Ubud, Shana Homestay by EPS is a recently renovated accommodation, which provides soundproof rooms. With a garden, the 3-star villa has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Every room is equipped with a patio with views of the garden. We stayed at Shana Homestay twice during our time in Bali. We booked two rooms on both occasions. Our total three night experience was outstanding. Firstly, the atmosphere of this place is fantastic. Despite being on a very busy street, the serenity and calm once inside the property is remarkable. This is also aided by the property being a traditional Balinese house - beautiful architecture and structure which gives you a real sense of what living in Bali is like. Secondly, the rooms were also super clean, comfortable and very spacious. There was plenty of room to store luggage, walk around and get ample sunlight from the windows. The beds were also very comfortable to sleep on. Finally, the hosts are wonderful. Yoyok and his family were very welcoming and accommodating in all aspects. They always interacted with us with respect and a smile, which goes a long way. Yoyok was instrumental in organising 4 taxis that we booked for prices that were lower than Grab/Gojek. He also helped us get some laundry and ironing done and also made homemade breakfast at 6:30am one day. Not to mention giving us lots of useful information about what to see, how much time to give something and what to expect. Thank you Yoyok and the wider family!

Staff was incredible especially the two ladies in the reception always with the smile and ready to help you. The food at the restaurant is very good and the room view was breathtaking. I recommended for everyone who wants to stay inside the real jungle.

I LOVED everything from the food, beaches, cleanliness and professionalism of the hotel…but by far the locals have my wife and I’s hearts! The staff that work at this hotel are amazing with warm welcomes and making you feel like family! Especially Wayan the host! Love you brother! Haha! Budi the talented chef! Who made my wife and I a romantic heart shaped floating dinner in the infinity pool overlooking the ocean with flowers and authentic Bali food, to Ruta giving us iconic tour destinations such as the temple and giving us a scooter to use! You guys were amazing! We love you all so much! Thank you for treating us like family and opening your doors to us! We appreciate it so much and have forever touched our hearts! We will never forget you guys and this trip has taught us so much from your hard work and honor to work to your love, happiness, and so much joy in your smiles and laughter! Thank you again!
