We all sat together every night and talked about our days, our dives, and future plans. I made lifelong friendships. The dive center is everything I wanted, small groups, lots of dive sites.

"Shady Sea Raja Ampat" ligger i Besir. Dette feriehus har havudsigt og bjergudsigt, 1 soveværelse og terrasse. Feriehuset har desuden 1 badeværelse. What a wonderful homestay in a stunning location. Julia,her family and staff were fabulous hosts always very friendly even though we had a language barrier. They provided a superb escape to relax and unwind. We stayed for 8 nights which to some may seem too long but there was plenty to do with the day trips on offer all of which were far cheaper than resort prices. We hired kayaks for a day, visited the local village as well as enjoying plenty of snorkeling trips. Visited Tanjung putus channel twice, Friwen, Arborek Island, Manta trip, Gam bay jellyfish and bat cave. All trips were well organised with lunch provided as needed. Travel was by long boat, great fun with Andre and Billy. The homestay is clean and well maintained with plenty of water for drinking and washing. The food was terrific, Julia and her sister are very good cooks. The meals were varied and tasty. We loved the fresh fish, chicken, omelettes and the variety of fresh vegetable dishes. The fresh fruit, banana fritters, pancakes, small cakes and donuts were v good too. Meal times were breakfast at 7, lunch at midday, snack at 4 then dinner at 7. Our only difficulty was that our eSIM provider didn’t work there (some guests had 4G). This meant we couldn’t use google translate so sometimes communication was tricky. We learned to trust their organisation and go with the flow as they were always out to give us the best time. We give this homestay 10 out of 10. It’s a wonderful way to get the genuine homestay experience with lovely locals.

Mares Homestay-Raja Ampat ligger i Fam. Dette overnatningssted ligger ved stranden og har et privat strandområde samt en terrasse. Feriehuset har også 2 badeværelser. We love everything about Mares Homestay!!!! The location is peaceful and close to amazing spots. The room was new and with all the necessary, comfy bed, extra mattress for the terrace, hammock, sun bed, to hung all the wet clothes, tables, chair, mosquito net… The bathrooms were always clean, both with shower. You can find a little village 5 minutes walking where everyone is friendly. They super welcome us, we were lucky and dance with them traditional Papuan music. So much fun!! 🤩 The food was plenty and delicious, we had special meal for Christmas!! They separated the portions and cook different plates every time. Apart from breakfast, lunch and dinner they will bring cakes at afternoon. Water, tea & coffee all day. Electricity from 6 pm to 6 am. But the best about Mares is Luky, the owner and his beautiful family. Everyone is happy and friendly. We love to meet them. Luky is a super host and he speak really good English. Don’t miss his tours! We snorkel 🤿 with at least 10 mantas!!! And we were there alone! We saw the eagle ray, the Wobbegong shark 🦈 and beautiful corals. We explore Pyanemo, Melissa’s garden, Rufas súper relax… At night we really enjoy the ride to other island to meet the Coconut 🥥 crabs 🦀 Also he is an amazing boat driver! He took us safe and pick up on time. Communication was smooth during months on WhatsApp! We found a friend in Raja Ampat! Hopefully we can come back soon!!! We were lucky because “Luky” is very lucky 🍀 maybe because he is always happy!!!! 😃 We love his energy!!

Great locationn and gteam very friendly. Food was tasty and we really enjkoyed the cabins over the water. Did long snoker swims up the coast seeing many coral and fish. amazing.

Great, charming homestay on Gam Island. I found the place to be very clean, tastefully decorated and the food exceptional (best food I had in my three weeks in Indonesia so far: fresh fish caught by our host, Arnes, and grilled to perfection with a multitude of healthy and delicious side dishes cooked up by Lina). A peaceful haven with beautiful views, yet ideally located to reach the nearby dive centers. 100 % would come again if I could. Terima kasih 🥰 + 10 points for the cute puppy

The bungalows are pretty intimate and hidden in the mangrove, which makes it really nice. You can see pretty any fish and bigger from the jetty!

Mamatua N Saleo Villa ligger i Tapokreng med havudsigt. Her er en have, et privat strandområde og en terrasse. Der er også gratis wi-fi. for a very reasonable price the villa is fantastic. Near the beach, clean, and we can walk to the forest nearby for birdwatching. The staff also very kind and attentive. The breakfast (the nasi goreng seafood) is delicious including their fried banana..i love it. AC works very well
