The house is a traditional Japanese style house, close to Omicho market, and easy walking distance to all the main points of interest in Kanazawa. The house turned out to be bigger than we expected, with spacious rooms and very comfortable. It even has access to a lovely garden, shared with neighbours. It has a fully equipped kitchen, one bathroom downstairs and one toilet upstairs. We loved the futons, and the sitting room overlooking the garden. The host Michio could not have been more welcoming, he came to pick us up at the train station and helped us retrieve our luggage from the Yamato office.

The renovation work of the house was absolutely perfect making our stay really enjoyable to our comfort and Michio is a great host. All in all, this was the best accommodation from our entire stay in Japan.
