There are lots of airconditioning units so it was comfortable even when cold outside. The host was so very kind and generous. We were lucky to meet him in person. There is a coffee shop nearby that opens at 6am and many convenience stores as well as a supermarket in walking distance. We had a vehicle and the host arranged parking for us.

Very spacious, fantastically equipped, beautiful traditional decor, reasonable price. The location is maybe a little out of the way for public transport but great if travelling by car. The town itself is traditional and full of character and the surrounding countryside is lovely. We hope to go back for a longer stay one day.

This recently renovated villa is located 8.7 km from Mizushima Ryokuchi Fukuda Park and 9 km from Tanematsuyama Park. The property is non-smoking and is set 17 km from Saijo Inari Temple. Such a beautiful home with the loveliest owners. The owner met us and gave us a tour around the house and his daughter wrote us a gorgeous letter and made origami! We felt so welcome. The home is in a perfect location close to the historial district but away from the hustle and bustle. It had everything we needed and was especially great for our 1.5 year old son with a whole Japanese play room with toys! It would be perfect for a younger baby too as the owner had a baby bath, a rocker and other baby items. Definitely recommend this home for anyone but especially those with young children!
