Good beds - also the sleeping couch. Worked fine for 2 adults too. Even washed clothes and could keep our luggage before our flight. Would recommend this for anyone and definitely come back. Pretty full equipped Appartments and beautiful view over Pico.

As we open the door it smelled like soap so clean . The stuff was very friendly🌸 The pool the view of a land with bourses ahhh breathtaking. I hope we can come back in the future .

BBQ area Plenty of towels available. Washing machine available. Very quiet area. Very cut off. Basic amenities still available in the village. Little coffee shop/grocery shop available 2min away. Restaurants 10min drive. We loved the remoteness of the place. Perfect for larger family groups. We arrived late at night and still found someone waiting to greet us. Impressive view points 10/15min away. (My favourite viewpoints in the whole island)

Casas da Ribeira tọa lạc ở Santa Bárbara, nhìn ra khu vườn và có Wi-Fi miễn phí cùng chỗ đậu xe riêng miễn phí. Really cosy and comfortable apartment. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you might need. There is also private parking, and nice garden with bbq facilities. We really enjoyed the breakfast which was left in the fridge for us (local products) and the fact that the baker brought us bread in the morning was also really nice. The location is also pretty good, just few minutes walk from the center of the village and the shop, and the Santa Barbara viewpoint can also be reached on foot (about 15 minute walk downhill). The host was also really helpful, tried to help us with everything and even offered to pay for our breakfast one morning when the baker forgot to bring us the bread. Overall a great apartment in a very peaceful environment for a great price.

Staying at Marina de São Mateus was like peeking into the lives of real Azorans; the apartment is located at a working fish harbor with boats coming in & out all the time. I had everything needed for a comfortable & peaceful place to stay while exploring the island. A short walk to a super market, an ATM & a pharmacy... though the nearby Mini Mercado Sousa was more fun to explore & had quite a variety of necessary household goods. On a practical note, having a washer/dryer was very convenient & the Wi-Fi was excellent. The park along the harbor is a nice place to walk or sit & watch the boats; there is also an exercise / children's playground available on the far side. Mara was an excellent host with many good recommendations for places to explore. Locally can wholeheartedly recommend Baia W for a fresh, friendly meal; the squib was tender & savory. Only a few minutes drive to downtown Angra to see the architecture & tourist shopping, or drive the other way to see the cheese factory, Queijo Vaquinha & have samples, a drink & or a sandwich with a pleasant atmosphere & blue water view.
