Holiday Parks in Turangi

Stayed in the fake vw campers. Really cozy even when it's cold because of the electric blanket. Facilities close by and very clean. Proximity to the lake is great- lovely views in the morning.

Absolutely everything about this beautiful, clean Holiday Park with the most accommodating lovely staff!

Absolutely wonderful ‘holiday park’! We stayed in one of the cabins (SKI), and it was lovely! The most comfortable and ‘stylish’ place I stayed in New Zealand during my long journey. I love how they paid attention to details and actually put effort into making it extra pretty and cozy! It was spotless and spacious, with kitchen and outdoor seating. So well-maintained! It’s on the lake, which was so peaceful… would highly recommend it!

We stayed in one of the mock VW camper vans. That was fun. Comfortable bed in a small space, though hotpot is provided. Camping-style shared bathrooms, but as clean as any camping bathrooms I've seen. Deck with table outside the van.

Staff were really friendly and chatty as soon as we arrived. Kitchen was really spacious and the renovated campervan we stayed in was lovely. All the facilities seemed pretty clean and the holiday park is ideally located next to lake Taupo.

The little camper van cabin exceeded our expectations - it was clean, comfortable and spacious. The location is excellent, right on the lake side, and the small private decking area with tables and chairs that came with our cabin was perfectly positioned to sit out overlooking the lakeside. Overall, the stay was great value and it's one of the most comfortable holiday parks we've stayed within NZ.
