O Waitangi Holiday Park é uma base ideal para explorar Northland e a Baía das Ilhas. Está situado nas margens do Rio Waitange, perto da Baía de Te Tii e das praias locais. Cabin was spacious and well-equipped with a lovely location right near the water. So nice to sit with a cup of coffee in the morning and just relax. Shared facilities were great!—Kitchen has plenty of cooktops and sinks. Bathrooms were super clean and showers were nice and hot. Staff were very accommodating with storing bags before check-in and allowing a slightly later checkout. So friendly and helpful!

Situado em frente à Baía de Orongo, o Russell-Orongo Bay Holiday Park disponibiliza acomodações com 3 áreas para churrascos. (Stayed in May, not Feb) Stunning spot! Loved all the birdlife - it was so relaxing sitting on the porch in the sunshine with the birds all around. Super special experience seeing a wild kiwi for the first time. The manager there was the best, and I had so much fun exploring the place with her looking for kiwi! (If you're reading this, I went for a wander to say bye to you but didn't spot you. Thank you for an awesome stay! <3 ) The cabin itself was really comfy, great wee kitchenette too, but the deck overlooking the wetlands was the highlight. I've found a new favourite holiday spot, will be back soon!
