Just 5 km from central Strömstad, Daftö Resort offers a summertime theme park with an outdoor pool and children's activity house. Strömstad Golf Club is 8 km away. This place was a very happy surprise in so many ways! We really did not know what to expect from a pirate-themed resort but we had a beautiful and very comfortable room. Mid-week and off-season, we had the whole resort practically to ourselves. It is situated on the water so we enjoyed a morning walk around the property. The breakfast buffet was fabulous! I can't imagine what the resort is like during the summer, it must be crazy busy with the amusement park. But if I lived near, I would definitely take my grandkids for a couple of days.

This small holiday park is located on the shore of Lake Åsunden, 5 minutes’ drive from Ulricehamn city centre. It offers individually decorated accommodation options with free Wi-Fi and parking. The sleeping barrel was so cozy with a comfortable bed. The communal kitchen was clean and well-equipped. The location is great and the staff were super friendly 🙂
