Great place! Our host was the most welcoming and the place was clean, warm and cozy, with great amenities. As Namur center is very small, this location is also very easily reachable by foot from the train station.

What a pleasant surprise this town and property were! We diverted to Namur on our way to Bruges. Saw this listing, booked it at the last minute. All I can say is, wow! First off, the walk from the train station was super easy. The communication with Anne-Françoise and Jean-Philippe was quick and clear. They were waiting for us when we arrived and graciously showed us the property. It is so so so cute and clean with all necessities you would need. They told us about their city with some really interesting facts and then graciously provided some Belgian beer which we drank on the cute terrace that backs up to the Citadel wall. So beautiful. Our only regret? That we couldn’t stay longer. Someday we hope to get back there and see the stilt competition, drink more Belgian beer, and stay at this lovely property again. Thank you!!!!

I loved this tiny apartment so much! Right in the center of Namur it was the perfect hub to explore the city. Within a couple of walk minutes you can hike up the citadel which is a great place to explore and enjoy the view over the city. Of course you can reach multiple restaurants even quicker. Although the accommodation is that central you barely hear anything from outside as the rooms are extremely well insulated. The apartment was surely small as promoted, but in my opinion very cozy for one person. I also liked that the apartment seemed to be very modern as well.

Located walking distance to the city centre and the majority of the attractions in the city. Host was very nice and welcoming. Breakfast was provided and like having breakfast at home. Room and bathroom very clean. Everything you need was provided in the bathroom There's a fan in the room, which worked well in hot June. Bed was cosy and comfortable. Desk and chair to work on, and the Wifi was fat and reliable.

I highly recommend to take a breakfast, because Joseph's apple pie is exceptional. Although the website states it is a Double room, you actually get an entire floor with two large bedrooms, separated by a kitchenette/dining room. Therefore, you might like to take a friend or two with you, so make sure you place the correct number of people in advance :-) Despite we wanted to visit other cities only, we found Namur very beautiful and spent there a day too.

the staff was amazing and always available when you try to reach out. I love both the bedroom that was really comfy as well as the bathroom that has a really spacious shower .

We had a wonderful Wednesday at the Riverbank Guest House. The environment is beautiful, you can see the Meuse River, the room is clean and free tea bags are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped so you don't need to bring anything. Perfect I will definitely be back. M. Vantilcke
