A very cozy Inn, perfectly located in the old town, a beautifully decorated room in traditional style and a fantastic host Rose who treated us to tea and snacks upon arrival and gave us many excellent recommendations for our visit. Recommend the Timeless Inn to everyone!

The owner is super friendly, speaks good English and is incredibly welcoming and helpful with everything we needed. He can help you to figure out your plans in ShangriLa and knows the current conditions. The homestay is in a good area, easily accessible by didi, bike etc. Only a short walk to old town and surrounded by lots of shops, food and everything you need. It is a very social and inviting environment with a really nice, big common area with some games, a piano and bar area. We spent a lot of time talking and hanging out with the owner and other guests. Everyone was so fun! When we were there, there was also a beautiful dog who we loved! The room is spacious, has comfy beds and the paintings on the wall were very cute. Thank you and see you again another time :)

The hotel was great. We spent three nights there and were deeply impressed by the host's warm hospitality. The host‘s family was so nice and helpful, and made every effort to provide us a pleasant stay. They introduced us attractions for sight seeing. The dinner prepared for us was delicious. The rooms were spacious and very well-equipped. We had six big luggages and they arranged two cars to drive us to and fro airport.  We enjoyed our stay very much and definitely highly recommend this hotel.

The guesthouse is perfectly located in the center of Shangri-La while still being peaceful and quiet :) It’s clean, cozy, and a great place to relax—I had a wonderful stay there! But for me, the best part was July, the owner. She speaks English, is incredibly friendly, and helped me plan my trips around Shangri-La and its surroundings. Don’t hesitate to grab a beer with her by the fireplace—it’s the perfect way to end the day!

Our breakfast was wonderful! Banana porridge and banana honey and walnut pancakes, so good. Loved the Tibetan beer on the terrace and the incredible views. Felt very warm and cozy in our room and the hot water was the best I have experienced in China. I was given some extra help as I had sprained my ankle and was not able to walk the trail. So I was given help to organize a mule to take me along the trail. It was incredible to see those amazing views on horseback (muleback). We didn’t have to worry about our the transferring of our luggage to the next destination. Everything was taken care of so we could arrive at each destination ready for the next step. Such a wonderful experience!
