I really enjoyed my stay at the Sakan 275 Hotel. I consider it to be a hidden gem in Egypt. It is affordable, clean and bug free which has not always been the case when I have traveled throughout the Middle East and Africa. The shared kitchen area was also very clean. Mr.Ahmed, the owner, and his staff were very responsive to my needs. Shortly after arriving in Egypt Mr. Ahmed used his personal car to drive me to the grocery store. I am not very fluent in Arabic, so whenever I needed a taxi, Mr. Ahmed and his staff were very eager to help me. During a 7 day short trip that I took to Dubai Mr. Ahmed agreed to keep some of my luggage because I didn’t want to have the burden of carrying all of my luggage with me to the UAE. I had a wonderful stay at the Sakan 275 Hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

The appartment is great. Very clean, spacious and just lovely. The host is a really nice guy as well. He made sure everything was perfect. Even after I left I needed help with the traffic police and I could call him whenever I needed him :)

We had a wonderful time at Cozy Royal Rooms in New Cairo. The location is excellent – there are plenty of malls, restaurants, and cafés nearby, some even within walking distance (around 10 minutes). However, be cautious when crossing the streets – traffic can be tricky. Alternatively, using Uber is very convenient and affordable: a ride within the area usually costs no more than 1–2 euros. We even took Uber to the Pyramids of Giza for just 10 euros. The room exceeded our expectations – it was very clean and well-maintained. The washer-dryer combo, which is available for shared use, was extremely practical during our stay – very convenient especially for longer visits. Mr. Mustafa, the caretaker, was incredibly friendly and helpful – always available when we needed assistance. Mr. Karim, the owner, was also very responsive and polite, quickly replying to any messages. we’d definitely stay here again!
